This piece is a tribute to Roberto Clemente, one of sports greatest humanitarians. This piece, originally commissioned, opened my eyes to just how great Clemente really was. Not only in Major League Baseball but at helping others. Roberto Clemente ultimately lost his life in the pursuit of helping others. It’s now no surprise why the legacy of #21 lives on proudly today. From the Pittsburgh skyline to the medal around Clementes neck I did my best to tell his story, through art.
